Fusion Targets
The rapid development in the technology of image intensifiers and thermal imagers has been staggering. Certainly both systems have a place on the battlefield. However, depending on conditions, each have their limitations.
The solution has been to combine both technologies into a FUSION optic. The fusion imager looks for both Night Vision Goggle (NVG) and Thermal (Ti) acquisitions. Therefore at ThermBright we have developed Fusion Targets which are designed to combine the two technologies. Our fusion targets are visible using either NVG or Ti, and can be further enhanced by an edge tracking feature.
ThermBright fusion technology has been tested against the latest FUSION optics. Due to the naturally reflective property of our ThermBright material, our targets and markers will effectively work in these combined conditions. ThermBright fusion targets come into their own against the old fashioned actively heated ‘Thermal Blob’ which can be inconspicuous to NVG’s.
All sizes of targets can utilise our fusion technology. Coupled with our ability to manufacture customised targets, this means we can supply fusion targets for any scenario.

ThermBright (Unpowered) Thermal FUSION IR/I Targets depict a more detailed view than conventional heated targets. Therefore our targets can be used with both image intensifiers AND thermal imagers meaning Thermbright Fusion Targets can be used in many more scenarios in exercises on the training field.
All forms of targets can utilise Fusion technology. At Thermbright we are able to produce customised targets to any size and design, resulting in most outdoor scenarios being able to use ThermBright Fusion Targets.

Landing Markers with Fusion Technology
ThermBright landing markers are a versatile solution. They can be used to create ‘pop-up’ landing sites, alternatively they can be used for semi-permanent landing sites. The design of the landing markers means they can be transported flat, then packed and assembled in seconds. As many markers can be deployed as needed to make up any size of landing area.

A common feature to all ThermBright Targets is that they can be repaired and reused by the use of ThermBright Repair Patches, which are available in sizes for either small arms or tank fire.
